Omvoh

Omvoh® (mirikizumab-mrkz) is indicated for the treatment of moderately to severely active Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn's disease in adults.

Clinical trials have shown treatments for some patients can help them reach and maintain remission while reducing their bowel urgency and showing visible healing of their intestinal lining after continuous treatment.

Administration Information

It is 300 mg for UC and 900 mg for Crohn's administered by intravenous infusion by a healthcare professional over at least 30 minutes at Week 0, Week 4, and Week 8. Followed by 200 mg for UC and 300 mg for Crohn's administered by subcutaneous injection by either a healthcare professional or self-injection every 4 weeks.

Potential Side Effects

The most common side effects of Omvoh include:

fainting, dizziness, feeling lightheaded
swelling of your face, eyelids, lips, mouth, tongue, throat, or trouble swallowing
trouble breathing, throat tightening, or wheezing
chest tightness
fast heartbeat or pounding in your chest
severe itching, hives, or redness all over your body
sweating
