Approved Uses:
- Moderate to severe plaque psoriasis (ages 6+)
- Active psoriatic arthritis (ages 6+)
- Moderately to severely active Crohn’s disease (adults)
- Moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis (adults)
It’s an FDA-approved biosimilar to Stelara and works by blocking interleukin-12 and -23, proteins that drive inflammation.

Potential Side Effects
Common side effects of Selarsdi include: nasal congestion, sore throat, and runny nose, upper respiratory infections, fever, headache, tiredness, itching, nausea and vomiting, redness at the injection site, vaginal yeast infections, urinary tract infections, sinus infection, bronchitis, diarrhea, and stomach pain.
