GIVLAARI is a medicine used to treat acute hepatic porphyria (AHP) in adults. GIVLAARI can be used to treat all 4 types: acute intermittent porphyria (AIP), variegate porphyria (VP), hereditary coproporphyria (HCP), and ALA-dehydratase deficiency porphyria (ADP).
Administration Information
GIVLAARI is given once a month as a subcutaneous injection (under the skin)
Potential Side Effects
The most common treatment-related side effects (in ≥10% of patients) were injection site reactions, nausea, and fatigue
