Exdensur
Exdensur (depemokimab‑ulaa) is an ultra‑long‑acting biologic for severe eosinophilic asthma.
It reduces asthma exacerbations by targeting IL‑5, a key driver of eosinophilic inflammation. It is an add-on, prescription maintenance treatment for patients 12 years and older to help against asthma attacks.
Administration Information
Exdensur is an injection given once every 6 months and administered by a healthcare professional.
Number of yearly treatments: 2
Potential Side Effects
EXDENSUR is not used to treat sudden breathing problems. The most common side effects include:
upper respiratory tract infection (common cold, sinus infection)
sneezing, nasal congestion, runny nose, and nasal itching (allergic rhinitis)
flu or flu-like symptoms
joint pain
sore throat (pharyngitis)
