Uplizna
UPLIZNA is a prescription medicine used to treat adults with: Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) who are anti-aquaporin-4 (AQP4) antibody positive; Immunoglobulin G4-related disease (IgG4-RD); Generalized myasthenia gravis (gMG) who are anti-acetylcholine receptor (AChR) or anti-muscle specific tyrosine kinase (MuSK) antibody positive.
Administration Information
UPLINZA is a twice-yearly treatment for NMOSD, IgG4-RD and gMG. The treatment is administered with 90-minute intravenous (IV) infusions twice a year (after initial two start-up doses 2 weeks apart).

Potential Side Effects
- NMOSD: urinary tract infection and arthralgia.
- IgG4-RD: urinary tract infections and lymphopenia.
- gMG: headache and infusion-related reactions.
